Bears Ears is a landscape that is important to both of us. It was an issue that Tim worked on during his time in legislative work, and visiting in 2021 ranks among the best memories that Jess and Tim have together. The region is under a lot of pressure from neglectful federal management and overcrowding. The Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition is an indigenous lead non-profit that supports responsible stewardship.
